Students in grades 1-8 can enroll in 2 sessions each year: Summer Space Camp (one-week, 3 hours per day, for the rising grade level) and the Saturday Academic Year Academy (SAYA is one Saturday each month, 3 hours per day, for the current grade level). The curriculum is different for each grade level and for each session, all designed to prepare your student for the enriching and challenging high school science programs we provide.

ALL our classes are FREE to participants. Anyone can register, but students must be able to attend all classes for the session. Because NASA sponsors this program for a certain number of students, we are required to report attendance for each Saturday. We also turn students away when classes are filled, so please respect the requirements made by TSU and NASA and do not allow students to miss classes for non-emergencies.

You will receive an email 10-20 days before the first day of classes with information on where to come and when. We require all students and at least one parent or guardian attend Orientation on September 6, 2008, to be updated on the most recent program information. Even if you have been a SEMAA parent for years, please come as our program is always evolving and changing with the needs of our families and sponsors!
