Presentations and Dissemination for the GRASP Program

Presentations from Oct. 1, 2006 to August 30, 2007:
The SEMAA staff at TSU made numerous presentations through out the year to local, state, and national groups about the GRASP program. Many of the presentations included the GRASP program as it relates to the broader program of astrobiology that is a major focus of the high school SEMAA initiative at TSU.

The presentations centered on helping to increase each audience’s understanding of issues related to the geosciences and STEM areas. Audiences included business owners at the Association of Equipment Manufacturers Seminar Nashville, TN, teachers at the Tennessee Science Teachers Association, Directors of the national SEMAA program, and scientists from around the world at the BioAstronomy conference in Puerto Rico. See Figure 1 for additional information on the location and dates of these presentations.
